Sacramento Children’s Photography – Cutie!

I was so happy when my good friend and fellow photographer, Rose Koogler,  asked me to photograph her and her 3 month old baby girl.  What an honor 🙂 I was so excited to meet her little one.  I’ve only seen her on Facebook as her proud mother have been posting.  She did great at our session.  She is so cute.  I just realized how much I miss babies.  But, not all nighters.  Toward the end of the session she was getting tired and had hard time settling down from all stimulation, poor kid.  We had a nice quiet session when the baby fell asleep.    The photo look great!

Sacramento Children’s Portraits

Okay, I finally had a chance to show off this amazing portrait session of these two cute brothers.  These two, although brothers, have different personalities.  One is outgoing and the other is a bit reserved.  They were so much fun to photograph.  As a result, we ended up with many beautiful photos.  I really love how these photos from this session turned out. We had great weather, perfect lighting and we still had green grass (well, alright…weeds) and, most importantly, great subjects.

Sonoma Wedding Photography – Heather and Joe

Heather and Joe were married at a beautiful Sonoma wedding site, Ramekins Culinary School, Inn and Events.  When I arrived, the weather was warm but not hot, yet.  Heather was looking gorgeous and was ready  to put on her stunning wedding dress.  Her entourage in their beautiful blue dresses were as gorgeous.  As you will see in this wedding, the color theme were  blue and green. Heather’s favorite color is blue and Joe’s is green.  Joe is a big fan of the Green Lantern.  So you’ll see from the photos, green lanterns and green ties,  There were butterflies everywhere.  Both moms chipped in in designing the event.  Beautiful job!!  We did some fun shots of the guys playing their favorite board game and goofing around. Heather was one of the most relaxed brides I’ve photographed.  She was the comic relief of the day 🙂  She made us all laugh with her funny little antics.  One of which was whenever she or anyone else says her last name which is Brumbaugh, they all yell it with gusto.  Joe yelled it out loud during his vows (funny).  I can say that she is now very happy to be Mrs. Deas. It was a fun and memorable wedding  with two people who are warm and loving.

Old Sugar Mill at Carvahlo Winery – The Wedding of Alison and Casey

Last Saturday, Alison and Casey were married at the Old Sugar Mill at Carvahlo Winery.  The weather was as perfect as can be.  We were predicting that Casey was going to sweat like heck in his tuxedo.   But, what do you know, it turned out to be so beautiful.  Speaking of beautiful, Alison looked amazing and so did Casey.  I’m glad we had some time before the ceremony to take some photos at the old factory.   This place has all kinds of backdrops..from the old beat up building to the beautiful grassy lawn and elegant reception site.  I’m glad that Alison and Casey chose me to photograph their wedding.  I enjoyed their easy-going personalities and seeing their love and respect toward each another.  Congratulations you two!

Sacramento Children’s Photographer – Fun Portrait Session

I had a great time photographing this family.  The boys are so nice and was so relaxed that I was able to take some great photos.  The younger one was funny.  I kept teasing him about his favorite green Pokemon.  I just couldn’t remember the name and I just kept making up names.  He thought it was so funny.  Mom was so sweet to email me after the shoot telling me that the little one liked me and said “ you didn’t seem like a photographer since you were so funny.. not sure what that means, but take it as a compliment.  Zach said you were very patient and kind to him.  Thanks for making the session enjoyable for all of us.”

I’m so lucky to meet some of the most amazing people!
