I photographed Katie for her 2nd senior portrait session. Different look and still gorgeous. Katie has such an amazing personality. She is so very sweet, very independent and well-mannered young lady. She is going to have a great future. And, she gets to look back someday and have these amazing photos of her. I did a fun collage of her. It was so much fun. Check them out.
I’m so lucky to meet such great people and Catherine and Eugene are no exception to say the least. This couple is one of the most sweetest people on earth. Last Saturday, Catherine and Eugene were married at All Saints Church in Hayward and the reception was held at the gorgeous Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton. Of course, Catherine was absolutely gorgeous and Eugene was handsome but very nervous. I love the church with its great arches. The priest during the ceremony talked about different types of rings that are related to marriage not just the kind you where on your fingers..caring, suffering,sharing, persevering and some other ones that were quite funny but worth heeding. I wish I can remember them all.
After the ceremony, we headed to Ruby Hill Winery . The place was stunning and huge. I just love how the place was decorated and flowers were fabulous. Catherine told me that Eugene was the one who arranged all the details. Wow! The highlight of the evening was when the bridal party were introduced with the Dancing with the Stars theme song and each one had a short dance routine. Very funny.
I had an absolutely fun time at the wedding. I even saw two couples whose wedding I photographed over seven years ago. It’s so nice to see them again and see them with their children.
Catherine and Eugene, you guys are such a beautiful couple inside and out. I’m glad I had the honor of being part of your special day.

Hannah will be a senior this school year. We had a great time photographing that day. She is very sweet. The sun was beaming so beautifully on her. What a gorgeous girl..very tall and slender. Her mom thought it was funny when I stood next to her. The height difference was hilarious. I should’ve had her taken some photos. It’s not that she is very tall, it’s just that I’m very short. The session was fun and I love the photos.
Catherine and Eugene are getting married this weekend at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton. We photographed their engagement photos weeks ago and I feel bad that I had not had the chance to post these amazing photos. This couple is so sweet together. They told me that they wanted to do something with cupcakes because that’s how Eugene proposed to her. Eugene set it up so there were cupcake surprise in every room that lead to the one with the ring. How romantic. So we definitely had to do some with cupcakes and so we went to Cupcake Craving in Sacramento. I had to try some (twist my arm) and been craving for some more since. I can’t wait for Saturday. It’s going to be fun expecially with Catherine and Eugene who are such a nice couple and cute, too.
I was taken aback when I first saw Erica. She looked stunning. We thought the day would be very hot as we expect of August. But, the weather was quite lovely. Before they headed out to Capitol Park, Erica and Sergio had their first look and they had a touching moment to talk with Sergio’s family. It was so hard to hold back tears. Soon after, we headed over to Capitol Park Sacramento for some fun photos. The ceremony was held at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Of course, need I say how gorgeous that place is. Right after the ceremony as the Erica and Sergio came out, a mariachi band was there to surprise them. It was great. Sergio is Mexican and Erica’s dad is as well so it was nice to have a little touch of their culture at their wedding. The couple decided to walk to the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and I’m glad they did. The band serenaded behind them through the streets. It felt so amazing walking through the streets with festive mexican music telling everyone that this is a celebration. That was a lot fun.
The reception was held at the Hyatt Regency on the top floor where the view of the Sacramento skyline was gorgeous.
