I’m so excited to finally able to blog again. I recently photographed Katie and Ryan’s engagement session. They’ll be getting married in a couple of months. As you can see, she’s going to be a such a gorgeous bride. Ryan is an easy going guy and has the cutest smile. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding. It will be held at the beautiful Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln .
A family of three beautiful girls. I had a great time photographing these girls in their cheerleading uniforms. They are very cute as you can see. Their mom, Monica, told me how busy her life is having the girls in different cheerleading squads. But, she said it’s worth it. The oldest will be performing at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. That is a once in a lifetime opportunity and they are so excited. I will be tuning in to see them.
Chheavy and Chris were married at the Wine and Roses Hotel and Restaurant in Lodi. What a rainy day. It was actually holding up until of course the bride puts on her dress. Chheavy is a wedding coordinator so she knew how to be calm and enjoy the moment even under unwanted circumstances. I’m so happy to have a cheery bride full of happiness on the day of her wedding…rain or shine. She was so cool and collect and was leading the girls through rain and mud for photos. She didn’t care if her gorgeous dress got dirty or that her hot pink petticoat was torn from rushing from dry spot to the next. I love, love, love Chheavy. I’ve know her for quite a while now and worked together in the past and so I wasn’t surprised at how relaxed she was. Chris, of course, was cool as well so everyone had a great time.
The reception was so amazing. Chheavy did an outstanding job with every detail in designing the look and feel of the reception site. Take a look at the photos and see for yourself. I think the highlight of the day was when Chris welcomed everyone with a speech in Cambodian. I didn’t understand a word he said but it sounded so impressive. Half of their guest who were Cambodian were also quite impressed as well as very amused.
I love the wedding and I love Chheavy and Chris. Congratulations to an amazing and sweet couple.

I had a great time spending the afternoon with Delaina and her mom. Delaina is a high school senior. She’s sweet and has the cutest smile and personality. Her photos look amazing. I love photographing high school senior!

Amanda and Joe were married Friday, October 22, 2010. There was a threat of rain but that didn’t dampened the excitement that was felt by everyone. Amanda’s dress was amazing on her. Amanda is a make up artist and so she did her own make up…shaky hands and all. She looked fantastic. Her bridesmaids dress were pink and fuchsia..very striking on them. They all looked stunning. The ceremony took place at the Pioneer United Methodist Church in Auburn. The rain held up until we were on our way to Auburn Valley Golf Club for some photos. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop when we got there. The rain and low light condition didn’t stop all of us from getting some photos. It was such a beautiful setting. Amanda and Joe and the rest of the brave bridal party went out in the drizzling rain and took photos. We couldn’t stay out too long but I was able to capture some amazing photos.
The rest of the evening went on without a glitch. Everyone had a great time inside where it was nice and dry. I had a great time with such a lovely couple–very sweet and loving. Congratulations Amanda and Joe and to your cute little son.
